1. Delivery Timeframe
1.1. Shipment Preparation
Shipment will normally be arranged within 10 days after full payment has been received and all documents required for the transaction and shipment have been submitted in complete and compliant form. Required documents may include, where applicable, buyer identification, customs clearance documents, import-related materials, authorization documents, or other information reasonably necessary for shipment.
If shipment is delayed because payment has not been completed on time or because the buyer has failed to provide required documents or information within the requested period, the resulting delay will not be treated as a shipping default.
1.2. Necessary Shipment Delays
If shipment needs to be postponed for operational, logistics, customs, port, regulatory, or other reasonable reasons, the buyer will be informed in advance where practicable.
If confirmation is requested in connection with a revised shipment arrangement and no response is received within the stated confirmation period, the revised arrangement may be treated as accepted, provided that such treatment is permitted by applicable law and the terms of the relevant transaction.
2. Logistics Responsibility
2.1. FOB Shipments
For transactions agreed on an FOB basis, the buyer is responsible for appointing the logistics provider or freight forwarder. The appointed provider is responsible for arranging compliant international transportation from the agreed handover point, including sea transportation, roll-on/roll-off transportation, land transportation, intermodal transportation, or other agreed logistics methods.
Responsibility for freight charges, insurance, destination handling, and other logistics costs will be determined by the agreed trade terms and transaction documents.
2.2. CIF Shipments
For transactions agreed on a CIF basis, an appropriate freight forwarder or logistics provider may be appointed to arrange international transportation in accordance with applicable shipping and customs requirements.
The normal international transportation period may be approximately 30 to 45 days, depending on the destination, shipping route, vessel schedule, customs processing, and other logistics conditions. This timeframe is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed delivery date.
Where delays arise from port congestion, customs inspections, vessel schedule changes, destination-country policy changes, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside reasonable control, reasonable assistance may be provided to coordinate with the relevant logistics parties. However, losses arising solely from such external delays will not automatically give rise to liability unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
3. Delivery and Pickup Requirements
3.1. Arrival at Destination Port
After the shipment arrives at the destination port, reasonable assistance may be provided with documents required for customs clearance, release, or vehicle pickup, where such assistance forms part of the agreed transaction.
The buyer is responsible for completing destination customs procedures and collecting the vehicle or goods within 7 days after arrival or within any other period specified by the destination port, customs authority, carrier, or transaction documents.
3.2. Late Pickup
If the buyer fails to collect the vehicle or goods within the required period, additional charges may arise, including warehousing fees, storage fees, demurrage, detention, terminal charges, port penalties, customs-related charges, or other third-party costs.
Such costs will generally be borne by the buyer where they result from delayed pickup, incomplete customs clearance, failure to provide required documents, or other circumstances attributable to the buyer.
3.3. Long-Term Unclaimed Shipments
If a vehicle or shipment remains unclaimed for more than 30 days, appropriate handling, return, storage, transfer, or disposal arrangements may be made in accordance with applicable law, port rules, carrier requirements, and the terms of the relevant transaction.
Where disposal or other handling is legally permitted, any remaining funds may be returned after deducting outstanding freight, storage, port, customs, handling, disposal, administrative, or other applicable costs.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
The buyer is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful information required for payment, shipment, customs clearance, import procedures, registration, and delivery.
The buyer must ensure that all identification documents, authorization materials, import documents, customs information, and other submitted materials are genuine and valid.
If false, misleading, altered, or fraudulent documents are submitted, or if there is evidence of abusive refund requests, malicious transaction modifications, fraudulent activity, or other serious violations, the transaction may be suspended or terminated and any available legal or contractual remedies may be pursued.
5. Customs, Duties and Destination Charges
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, the buyer is responsible for understanding and complying with the import, customs, taxation, registration, inspection, and other legal requirements of the destination country or region.
Customs duties, import taxes, port fees, inspection charges, brokerage fees, registration fees, local transportation costs, and other destination charges are generally the buyer's responsibility unless the relevant transaction documents state otherwise.
Changes in destination-country customs policy, tax rules, import restrictions, or other regulatory requirements may affect costs and delivery timing.
6. Delays Beyond Reasonable Control
Delivery may be affected by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disruptions, port congestion, shipping schedule changes, customs inspections, government action, regulatory changes, transportation interruptions, epidemics, conflict, or other force majeure events.
Where such events occur, reasonable efforts may be made to provide updates and coordinate alternative arrangements where practical. Estimated shipping or delivery dates may need to be adjusted accordingly.
7. Changes to This Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in logistics procedures, trade terms, customs requirements, applicable laws, or operational practices.
Updated terms will be published on this page. Where a notice period is required or commercially appropriate, revised terms may be displayed before taking effect. Transactions entered into after the effective date of an updated policy may be governed by the revised version, subject to applicable law and any separately agreed transaction terms.
8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Any dispute arising from or relating to a shipment, transaction, delivery arrangement, or this Shipping Policy should first be addressed through good-faith consultation between the parties.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it may be submitted to arbitration in Hong Kong in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), unless the parties have agreed otherwise in writing.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed in the relevant transaction documents, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China may govern the interpretation of this policy and related contractual matters.
9. General Terms
If any provision of this Shipping Policy is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If the terms of a specific sales contract, quotation, invoice, purchase agreement, or separately signed document differ from this Shipping Policy, the specifically agreed transaction terms will generally take precedence to the extent of the inconsistency.
